I submitted an online application Feb 2020 and a few weeks later I was contacted by their in-house talent partner. After a review of my cv, she set up an interview with the programme manager in the US office via a zoom call. The questions were standard PM questions , nothing too difficult or out of the ordinary. Two more interview with senior managements in the US followed after, and again questions was standard and it felt more like an informal relax chat rather than an interview. Thereafter, I was promptly ‘ghosted’ no response or feedback from the talent partner. After weeks of ignored emails and call, I finally got a response back from the talent partner after sending her an email on linked-in. I was told the role was ‘put on hold’ for now. The way Marsh & McLennan went about providing candidate feedback, made me realise that I wouldn’t want to work for an organisation who lacks basic communication skills.
