Submitted resume and was contacted by the "operations" manager who conducted an hour long technical phone interview covering general knowledge of hardware and software. This was followed by an on-site one-on-one interview with 6 others over 4+ hours. Most questions involved coding on the white board. Most of the interviewers were professional and pleasant, a couple were the ones one wouldn't want to work with. At the start of the on-site interview, the operations manager did indicate that the company has undergone a recent reduction in force and reorganization.

Several coding questions that were not very difficult. Some design and architecture questions were open ended and vague; frustrating to ferret out what exactly they were looking for.

You may or may not get a furthr invite from manager after this round. this may take some time as manager has to shortlist a candidates from a pool of resumes. In person rounds focus on data structure, algorithm and previous networking/experience related questions

The interview process has 3 technical rounds and one managerial round. This specific hiring was for Marvell's userspace network software development division. The interviews are average or above average in terms of coding questions. The coding questions are easy but tricky.
Go through your OS and networking concepts. The interview starts from a very basic and proceeds to an advanced level. So be aware of the MMU and schedulers of OS. The Switching and routing concepts in networking.
