was asked about past experience and why I would be good for the job. was also asked why I was interested in the cosmetics industry. the process took about three weeks and was all done over the phone. I would say it was pretty simple and easy.

I had a pre-screening phone interview. The recruiter was over the top excited about me, and it felt like she was ready to hand me the job. (I've interviewed enough to know when someone likes my skills vs. doesn't.) Checked in a few times and she remained positive. Then finally got a "we went forward with someone else," despite being told originally how she wanted to have me come in. I don't understand why these recruiters can't just be honest from the get-go. I wasted weeks hanging on to hope.

Talking to the CEO of the location. Very casual. Gave me a better understanding of my job, due to the job description being very vague. We had to make a presentation on 3 products along with evaluating 3 products, how it's marketed and how they are doing. Pretty simple math. However we had a very limited time to finish these two tasks, and I believed it showed how we can work under pressure, which after a couple weeks of being there I realized that it is a critical skill in this company.
