This is regarding the interview process. I've been ghosted in the past after interviewing with certain companies but never was I ghosted during a scheduled interview where I show up to a phone conference and the recruiter fails to show up. After 20 minutes of waiting in the queue, I emailed the recruiter to which his response was that I should have received a cancellation email and I should not have been allowed to pick my selected date for the HR screening. Prior to day of my interview, I received several email reminders that I had a 30 minute interview via a phone conference. So therefore, I obviously did not receive a cancellation email. After emailing the recruiter back with my new availability, I heard no response from him and it was apparent that this interview process was a complete ghosting and a waste of time. The way the interview communication was conducted was very unprofessional and not only does this look bad on HR, but it also looks bad on MassMutual. Moving forward, please let future candidates know that you will not be moving forward with the HR screening so that the future candidate does not have to prep or waste his/her time for the HR screening.

applied on the website, received email from recruiter, set up phone interview with recruiter, had phone interview, phone call lasted about 20 minutes and will hear back soon via email
