Colloquio
Got the interview through a Career Fair at my university.
A phone interview about qualification followed by another phone interview dealing with technical CS.
The last round was an on-site College Day (technical and behavioral).
Advice:
They ask a lot of questions. The questions check if you have knowledge, not if you have the ability to think. They also want to know why you would like to do technical support which is 50% of the job. Prepare well for behavioral interviews.
Perceptions: (Just my opinion!)
If you are ambitious about your work, then this is not a position for you. The company is probably good, but the job isn't. It involves technical support for 50% of the time which is probably not worth you time in your career. They talk about transition to a permanent position, but when I went to Natick, I saw that there were quite a few people who were in the technical support roles for more than 2 years. The other 50% of the time, you get to do individual projects of your choosing (you help out a team with a small aspect of the product). I seriously doubt if you'll be able to learn any software engineering skills at all. To me it appears as if the project just exists to make you believe that you are being hired for a good position. They talk about it helping you with choosing your area of interest. I think it's only clever marketing of the position. On the college day, some currently working employees presented their projects and it didn't seem impressive.
The technical interviewer wasn't sophisticated at all. People who got recently hired are the ones who do the technical interviews. I was asked to write a sorting algorithm which the interviewer wasn't skilled enough to read and understand through a quick glance. All they seem to care about is whether you will stick around to the technical support for 2 years once you are hired.
There were three phases for recruiting procedures. The first stage was a brief and relaxing conversation, the second stage was about technical things and hiring manager asked several questions in the third stage.
