No HR involvement in interview process. Standard questions during individual contributor interviews.
*RED FLAG *
My final interview was with the CEO of the company and a Finance Exec. Finance being involved in my interview was completely irrelevant. Tone was very condescending. I asked about company culture and CEO made comment about past work experiences being diverse due to working with obese people and nuns. Completely ridiculous statement. That bad experience was critical in my declining the pay cut the offer provided.

Since I was moving to a new area of the media industry I was pressed as to why I was making the move.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Matrix Solutions (Pittsburgh, PA) nel mese di nov 2017
Colloquio
HR phone interview, followed by a director level phone interview. You will then have an in-person interview at their corporate office. Submit resume and cover. Standard sites have the posting. Response time was quite impressive.

The interview questions are very standard. Initial screening and director interviews were very positive. Since I was shifting my career focus and past experience, the press was for why do you want to move into this position. I asked questions to sort of reveal some culture. The hiring manager was, perhaps lacking management and leadership experience. It was quite evident when he consistently reinforced his access to the CEO. While it's understood that things come up with those that may be interviewing candidates (I was supposed to interview with 2-3 people) on the day of the actual interview, be sure to prep those that are doing so to not be stressed during the interview. Regardless of a psychological strategy, you should not make your candidates feel like they are a burden.
