Terrible experience - this review is for the San Diego branch. One of their recruiters called me about a few positions they have available - subsequently this recruiter also INVITED me to apply for their open recruiter position which I did.
I received a phone call later that week from one of their managers and we talked about my qualifications and the position. He invited me to an in-person interview with him and another manager to which I went. We all spoke to each other and the interview went great.
They invited me back the following week to meet and speak with the team for about an hour and a half - I met and spoke to about 10 recruiters and their teams at this point and I thought it went really well.
I debriefed with three managers afterwards and they asked me which teams I liked the most, they also asked if I was applying for any other positions outside of Maxim to which I told them I've stopped looking for other jobs and made up my mind and would like to join their team at this point - they all seemed eager at this point.
They then invited me again for ANOTHER interview the following week with Melanie Hanley - their fat cow operations manager - someone who was never involved at any point in this process. I interviewed with her and apparently she thought I wasn't good enough despite what the rest of her recruiters' impressions of me. They called me the next day and said they decided to move on instead.
To sum up - they invited me to apply - invited me to interview - invited me to meet their team - asked which teams I liked and if I was hunting for any other jobs -invited me for another interview - only to reject me at the end.
It was a cruel and emotionally taxing experience. I wish they didn't contact me in the first place.

Had a few rounds of interviews starting with phone, then two in person one with a panel, and finally one virtual. Each interview was a combination of experience and behavioral questions.
Phone screen, interview with manager, shadow for position, interview with area manager . Lots of steps for an entry level position. Lots of repetitiveness and same questions ask. Seems pretty redundant

Tell me about a time when you had multiple tasks to juggle at the same time. How did you balance getting these tasks completed
pretty straightforward, they just want to know if you'd be able to do the work and what your experience is like and whatnot. it's not stressful or intimidating at all.
