Had a phone call interview and got invited to an on-site interview. The on-site interview went good from my point of view with laughter and stories from both parties. I was told details about a “pit-sit” as the next part of the interview and to reach out to the original post of contact to set up a date and time for it. The POC was normally responsive within an hour during business hours, but after the in person interview I haven’t heard anything. It seems a lot like being ghosted, which isn’t a good look for a company. It doesn’t take a lot of time to reach out and let someone know you’re not moving forward in the hiring process.
