It was very hard the interview was and I think that the questions were unsuitable given the nature of the position. I was really unsure as to why this was the case.

It was an over the phone interview. Basic interview styled questions like availability, why you want to work there, what does providing good customer service looks like and so on. Nothing too intensive and fairly easy.
