Partner reached out via LinkedIn in to have a chat. After the interview, the partner expressed that they would be putting me forwards strongly. I very clearly asked for complete confidentiality as my current employer did not know that I was leaving yet. However, I later received a rejection and I found out that the partner had reached out to my current employer to discuss my interview. Highly unprofessional and very disappointing.
