Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso McKesson nel mese di ago 2025
Colloquio
It starts with a suspicious text and email from, I guess, an AI "virtual scheduling assistant." If I hadn't remembered I really did apply for a job with McKesson, I would have thought it was another job scam text. I was still a little suspicious all the way up to the interview, which did turn out to be a real person. It's just, like someone else said, she didn't seem that familiar with the job and the type of people she should pass on to the next step. I am overqualified for the job, but she mainly seemed to be interested in the details around my being laid off. I think that's the main reason I wasn't sent to the next round, which is ridiculous since anyone paying attention to the news knows white collar layoffs are remarkably common over the last two years and no longer automatically mean something is wrong with your performance as an employee. She asked some sort of question such as if I was the only one laid off, and I told her my whole department had been laid off and that we were replaced with offshore talent. I even asked about McKesson's stability/security since I have been laid off twice, and she almost seemed caught off guard (because, apparently, layoffs are all the employees' fault) and rambled. It does sound like there is some sort of company split-off coming. Other than that, it was common "checklist" questions about salary and having Amazon 1P experience. None of the standard questions you get for an ecommerce position to assess experience and ability. Did that thing where they say you'll hear by a certain date without specifying that only applies to people whom they'll move to the next round, so I never heard back.
