Colloquio
The company was brought to my attention by a friend. Had one face to face interview which went so well they asked me if I was willing to relocate for a position higher than the one I was applying for at the time. With my wife and kids I was unable to relocate at the time. I was passed up on the position so another manager could hire a friend that was fired from the job previously for a laundry list of things. Which is all fair if a company chooses to hire that way. What I did not like was how unprofessional they were at letting me know the position was filled. It was very shady contacting them. I called a few times after already knowing how and why the position was filled, to thank them for the opportunity to interview and let them know if the person hired does not work out for a second time, to not hesitate contacting me. I was avoided like the plague and hung up on.

Interview process was simple, found the role online, met with one person and was offered the role the same week. No waiting around for 3-4 weeks to get an answer which was a huge plus as a candidate.
Domande di colloquio [1]
Domanda 1
Past accomplishments, challenges and thoughts on the industry. For management role they also asked a bout previous supervisory experience.
Previous account management and sales experience is a plus for the role but not required.
Lastly, working in a highly regulated industry requires a lot of patience and creativity and they wanted to know if working with tobacco products was acceptable.

It is rare to get hired as a manager without already working for them as a spokesmodel. They have a set # of questions that managers must ask. You act on behalf of HR but HR never formally trains you. HQ never formally trains managers at all. So they just let you make it up as you go and yell at you when you mess up. Really classy like.
