      Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto più di 2 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Medifast (Baltimore, MD) nel mese di set 2023

      Colloquio

      I had 8 interviews. First with a recruiter, then with the would be hiring manager, then with a would be direct report then two other members of the marketing team, then two members of the product side. I was then invited to present a past project for 30 minutes to a panel of 8 people (several of the same people as I had already met with) with 15 minutes of questions followed by a lunch with the would be manger. I was told at this lunch that there were two other candidates also going through the panel exercise and following this round, the top two would then move to the next round to meet with the would be manager's boss and then they would make a decision. Four weeks later, when I heard nothing, I sent a polite short email to the recruiter to just close loop and confirm that they were proceeding with other candidates. It has now been four full business days and I have yet to get a response. I get that things come up and when you are no longer in the running you are not a priority but is a basic level of politeness and decorum in business too much to ask? Have to say, while I enjoyed some of the individuals I met with, between the apparent culture of "decisioning by committee" and obvious inability for swift actions, I think I may have dodged a bullet here.
