Applied online following one of their outreach events. I did a phone interview where they asked basic questions about "Why I was interested in the Company?" "What do you know about Clinical Research?" I was then selected for a followup interview with two senior clinical managers, an HR rep, and a director. The HR rep showed up 5 minutes late and just went through the exact same questions we did in the phone screen (didn't they keep notes?) and finished with next steps in the process. Two of the interviewees began by asking, "Do you have any questions for me?" Clearly, unprepared, uninterested in me, and not engaged in the hiring process. Interviews should be a two-way street: The employer should use it to vet the applicant and sell the benefits of working for the company (pay, challenging work, noble pursuits, great colleagues, etc...) and the applicant should describe how they can best help the company and what they would to help the company move forward. Alas, either they had their mind made up to promote for within (perfectly acceptable) or just don't care. Perhaps even their own employees are burnt out from interviewing so many applicants because of the turnover. Well, I'd suggest a better investment upfront in the hiring/etting process.
Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to interview with us. We regularly review our hiring practices and strive for excellence in all areas. We are always looking to improve and appreciate the insight you have provided.

Interview was relaxed and pleasant overall. The interviewer briefly discussed their expectations for this role and asked some simple questions like my background and a STAR story. The interviewer kindly answered in detail all my questions.

STAR story from my previous job where I faced a challenge
HR messaged on linked about a campus event, then proceeds to ask for full CV and cover letter for the actual job. I don't even know what they do. Was nice and polite until I send the CV and cover letter and never heard back from them!

The employees leave a positive impression, and the work environment feels welcoming. The interview process consisted of 2-3 rounds with CRAs, CTMs, and HR, and the questions were not overly challenging. It seems they simply want to get to know you.
