Previous to my in-person interview, I had several calls with their tech recruiter then at least one call with the hiring manager for the position.
The in-person interview was much more granular and helped me understand the role more and asked about how I would be able to handle the responsibilities of that role.
I then had several other rounds of in-person interviews with other departments related to the one I was interviewing for, including a coding test and an aptitude test.
