It was a series of two interviews and I was an original hire. The first interview was with one person and was carried out professionally, similar to most interviews I've been on. The second interview was with the owner. The man was clearly never briefed on questions you can't legally be asking in interviews. It was a bit of a strange interview. I was shown to a nicely appointed boardroom to wait for him. He dramatically appeared from a side room after sliding open a pocket door. Nice coffee bar in one corner. Did not offer me a coffee but did have the lady who showed me to the room make him one. I found out later she's in charge of operations for all of his businesses. A real wannabe gangster kind of vibe. The nice boardroom and side room very much a contrast to the facilities for staff at Mellow Leaf. If you can get through the second interview without laughing at the second-rate stagecraft and pomposity you're golden.
