Colloquio
First I applied online, then they contacted me to do a video interview online through HireVue, then I was invited for an in-house interview in Seattle with five members of the team I would be working with. Questions were about my past experience, my career goals, my interest in the position and the company, and my work style

Domanda 1
If you had one day to complete a big project before a huge deadline and a person in leadership interrupted you to ask if you could work with a client for a couple of hours on another assignment, what would you do?

Colloquio
I applied online and was contacted about 5 months later when an opening came up where they were looking for a specialist with my exact experience. An HR guy called me and did a very general phone interview trying to match my background with what was needed. We went through a little back and forth on the administrative aspects and making sure I was a good match to interview with the consulting team. I came in for an interview a few weeks later. I got lost on the way there and I was a few minutes late - they didn't care. First I interviewed with 2 people at once where they went through some basic testing of my skills and what my approach to their issues would be. The mood was very light and fun and easy going. Then I interviewed with another office leader 1:1 - very different mood much more serious and quiet. Same basic types of questions on my background and approach. Not very many, if any, situational questions. It was quick and easy. I got the feeling that they really wanted to hire me just based on my resume and brought me in to make sure they liked me as a person. We spent a lot of time talking about personal interests, sports, etc. They did a background check which took about 10 days during which they called my former employers and references, did a credit check, looked at criminal history, etc. They called after that with an offer and I accepted within about a week. I have seen other intake processes where there wasn't an immediate need go much much slower and involve way more people with both the interviewing and consensus to hire.
