Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 2 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Michael Page (Gurgaon, Haryana)
Colloquio
Initially all was well, was told 3-4 rounds would be taken and I was able to clear them all. However rounds after rounds were taken, by 6th, 7th round they were forcing to come to their office in person despite sensitising them about having professional commitments with current employer. Sunken cost fallacy crept in and I budget by applying leave from work to attend these interviews. Also most of these rounds were repetitive in nature. After 6 weeks with 1-2 interviews scheduled every week, they told about a final round pending. Here is where they started stalling. After two more weeks upon checking they informed I lacked requisite experience, they were looking for someone with more experience. Infuriating given I should've been rejected basis this during resume screening itself. Funnily I was also contacted for 2 other recruiters from the same company with same offer within 2 weeks after the rejection, which ofcourse I didn't go ahead with. Final note: please be very sure about wanting to interview here, very likely they're just passing time internally showing busy hours.
