I applied 2 or 3 weeks ago, received a call on April 8th, and interviewed on the 12th. I asked an employee where to go and she radioed in that I had arrived and told me to wait on a bench near the check out. Not too long after, maybe 2 minutes, the customer experience manager came to get me and took me to the back to interview with both her and the store manager. They were both very friendly and easy to talk to. They talked about the 65% rewards program quota, that percent or higher of your sales need to be from rewards members or from signing up new people. Better percentages increase your chance of getting more hours. When I asked what other people in my position had done to succeed in the company, they basically said that you get what you give and working hard and being available for call ins are good. They mentioned that several people who had started and this position later went on to become mangers of other locations. They also explained the dress code, shirts with some sort of sleeve and no inappropriate cuts or logos, blue or black jeans or black or khaki slacks, skirts 2 inches above the knee (although the manager said that might not be a good choice since I'm likely to be using ladders), and closed toe closed heel shoes sneakers or more formal shoes were both okay.
