First interview with HR managers, and second interview with director. HR and directors are so demanding, asking many times about commitment, asking to explain very detail process which might credentials for company, so need to review some scientific publication papers. On the second interview, director asked for another interview the next week and prepare some other presentations about technical machinery, but never heard back about the schedule nor the outcome of the interview process. Already asked HR about the schedule for the next interview asked by director, but nobody response. This ghosting experience gets annoying because a lot of efforts had been put to make all difficult presentations and the pressure during the interview also make it worst.

This was followed by an online technical assessment testing core engineering fundamentals. After passing the assessment, I had [1-2] technical interview rounds with senior engineers. These rounds were deep dives into transistor-level behaviors, layout optimization, and firmware troubleshooting. The interviewers really wanted to see my problem-solving approach rather than just hearing the correct final answer. The final stage was a behavioral panel with cross-functional managers, utilizing the STAR method to gauge how I handle tight lab deadlines, high-pressure environments, and team collaboration.

Basic questions on semiconductors, and thorough review of resume. They will go through all the experiences and the projects listed in the resume and ask questions from it. Some managerial questions as well on how would handle team work, time and pressure.

There were 2 rounds mostly behavioural and questions based on your resume. First one was with managers and the final one was with the director . Overall the interview process was chill but the hr follow ups were pretty slow
