Five rounds of interview:
Round 1: Basic questions on .NET framework.
Round 2: Detailed questions on ASP.NET, WPF, WCF.
Round 3: Hands-on coding for 3 hours on a scenario.
Round 4: Hiring manager interview - Fitment to the department.
Round 5: Director interview - Previous work experience, expectations of the job, etc.
Only 1 of 112 candidates interviewed get selected into Microsoft GD as of 2011.

Also erstes Interview mit HR, im Anschluss mit dem hiring Manager und zuletzt ein technisches Interview. HR hat die gängigen Fragen gestellt. Hiring Manager vermehrt über Verhaltensfragen und das technische Interview hauptsächlich um Cloud und .NET Anwendungen.

Colloquio
The panelists were highly professional, fostering a friendly and engaging atmosphere. Their questions were thoughtful and relevant, contributing to a productive and insightful discussion. The overall experience was well-organized and demonstrated a high level of expertise.
Hit or miss with the people you engage. Some are good, some are not. This role is a stepping stone in my opinion. There are other positions one can move into after some time in this one.
