The interview process beginning with HR left lots uncertainty in the hiring process. At surface level it seems clear, 1 HR screen, 1 Hiring Manager Interview, and 3 Interview Loops. I experienced varying degrees of engagement in my conversations, and received generically positive feedback from HR (enough to be referred to other positions). There was no clear timelines for hiring positions, one ended up being cancelled based on funding after 2 weeks in the dark, and one I was denied for was reposted the day after.

Describe a time that you did not meet customer expectations.
There were a series of five interviews: initial screening with HR, then an interview with the hiring manager, and then three follow-up interviews with hiring manager peers. The people were nice, however, very scripted by their interview guide. Company follows the STARR format.
