      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Mindful Health Life (Denver, CO) nel mese di mar 2021

      Colloquio

Disorganized. Everyone was very nice at this company, but the process was much too long. It started with an online assessment test, then several Skype interviews with various people from the company who had no relevance to the role, other than the hiring manager. There was also a written essay exercise, asking for my ideas about various topics related to the role. They should ask those items as interview questions, but not expect job candidates to hand over strategy and ideas in writing, which they can keep and use, never even hiring anyone for the role. And that's just what happened. RED flag. Interview # 5 was with the actual hiring manager, who was very nice and said he was new to the company, but didn't ask me many questions. Turns out, I had far more experience for the role than he did. He shared that he'd spend his first several months asking questions about this department.....yet could not tell me much about the actual workings of the department. I was a loyal customer, had enthusiasm, knew the products.... and had the right expertise....and I wondered, "why is no one excited or engaged here"? A week later the HR rep called to tell me that I was one of the 3 final "excellent" candidates, but unfortunately wasn't selected. Two months later I saw the job posted again on their website, so I contacted their HR and it turns out that the hiring manager did not select any of the "excellent" candidates. Another RED flag. I was told that they were about to "take the job posting down", but was given no explanation. So either the hiring manager is unable to make decisions, or something else is very wrong here. Either way, it's disrespectful to the good candidates who spent hours going through their long process, only to have our time wasted.
