Colloquio
I had a remote interview with the company owner, as well as discussions with immediate department head and a couple of follow-ups with a contracted Human Resources representative over the course of a couple of weeks.

I got an interview pretty quickly, first with the CEO, super super nice and wonderful. It was hard to hear back afterwards, had my second interview with 2 people from the department I was interviewing for. I thought it went well, I let it slip that I had a learning disability and it got awkward and I never heard from them again. Never even contacted my references. I obviously have zero proof that it was their reasoning but I was very qualified and I impressed the CEO. They ghosted me, I reached out, told me they looked into my references and I knew that they didn’t. For a company built on a basic level of communication, they had terrible communication. Didn’t tell me anything beyond that.
Hello... thank you for the kind words about your chat with the CEO... and thank you for your insights into the next phase of the experience. I welcome your call/email for a more in-depth discussion because I value everyone's impression of Miranda Creative. I regret to hear that your impression of the experience was "ghosting,"... and I sincerely wished you had reached out,... because I could have shared with you that our beloved HR director was experiencing hospice care for a member of her immediate family and that our onboarding process was understandably delayed. I also must address any impression that you have regarding disability impacting our hiring decision. Nothing could be further from the truth. I encourage you to read about our younger Art Director, Carissa (https://www.connecticutmag.com/issues/features/40-under-40-the-class-of-2020/article_2569b440-3731-11ea-b2c5-cb326e28d196.html) to get a full sense of our inclusive environment. We are still actively in the review process of our candidates and I will make sure that the shortlist of those we spoke to in March, are issued a appropriate updates now that our HR lead is back in her role. xo M2
Only half an hour long over zoom. Went well and they are very nice people. Emailed and set up meeting and had the meeting a couple days later. It was an average difficulty
