Colloquio
Standard sales manager phone screener from the recruiter. She asked me about my management experience and style, the sales motion of my company.
She then described the role, and talked about comp band and org structure. I understand that I was interested not (too junior) and referred some people in my network to her.

5 rounds including interview screening. Very straight forward with a project at the end the end that centers around coaching a rep on the team. The recruiter is always available through text and phone and will help before each interview which was amazing

How do you align with your stakeholders to build trust

The hiring process is a very questionable approach that lacks any ethical and in my opinion, legal basis.
I was first contacted by hiring manager who was a junior manager lacking moderate experience with low level of empathy. I was asked standard questions that I, with over 20 years of sales experience, had to smile about.
I was then invited to 3 more interviews which all ended with all the people giving me the thumbs up. On my final question whether I had their buy in to hire me "every single one" answered with an absolute yes.
In the end, I received feedback from the hiring manager that I didn't make it because I missed out on information here and there in my answers. Excuse me?
But the very best part is, the guys at Miro want applicants to open their LinkedIn profiles and show people/employees you have hired in the past. Absolutely questionable! Why would you do that? Do they want to copy these names and approach them?
Furthermore, you have to sign two NDAs (as in my case). Excuse me? For what? In none of the conversations with Miro did anyone learn anything secret or special, which is why this paranoid behaviour was a no-go for me in the end.
Since I thankfully had 3 other offers from companies whose interview process was "Professional" compared to Miro, I didn't waste a thought on Miro and also told it to the Hiring Manager in the final call I had with him.
Here is my recommendation to any applicant considering to talk to Miro:
- If you have to sign an NDA, then refuse it!
- If you have to show your LinkedIn profile online on the screen, then refuse!
One more thing. Miro's pay range offer is too low compared to other companies.
Also the employee churn rate is high - why?
My heartfelt recommendation, avoid this place. There seems to be a lot of chaos and the hiring procedure is legally and morally questionable!
