Hiring manager screening, take-home assignment, many follow-up interviews with various parties, reference checks.
Negative experience because the company lowered my job title TWO TIMES but still gave me a "competitive "offer. The feedback and evaluation were inconsistent and not transparent.
1. Lowered the job title on the written offer without prior explanation. They said the job title was Senior Product Data Analyst because of "advertisement" reasons. They were looking for an (X) level candidate but I was (X-1) level.
2. Lowered compensation package in comparison to first compensation package discussion.
3. Further lowered my leveling to (X-2) after I asked for more clarity on leveling and compensation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
4. Interview feedback was not based on the actual interview performance, but on inference.
The interviewers are pleasant to chat with, but unfortunately, Miro's hiring team does not have a consistent standard. The company adopts a very long, thorough interview process but they did not make conclusions from the interviews. I can't see how they draw the feedback if they didn't ask related questions. They were saying "There was no evidence of you [showing certain skills]" without giving examples. The fact that the hiring team lowered my level TWO TIMES but still gave me a "competitive "offer is a red flag.
