I initially interviewed August 3rd for the position. The interview went well, and I got a good idea of the position and its duties. I was told that the next part of the process would be to meet with the office manager as that was who I would've been working most closely with if I had been chosen for the position. The director of food & nutrition informed me that I would be called the next day to schedule a time. I didn't hear back for quite some time. I called multiple times, and finally heard back. However, It wasn't until August 26th that I met with the office manager. The director told me I was in the top four candidates they were considering, and that they would be deciding by the next day, the 27th. The director told me to call him directly if I didn't hear back from HR. I never received a call/email from HR, nor did the director who I interviewed with ever email me back, or call me back after I left a voicemail. After a great initial two interviews (albeit very far apart) I was disappointed that I had to find out I didn't get the job by checking my career portal daily to see if the status of the position had been updated to 'Reviewed; not selected'.
