Applied via LinkedIn. Relatively quick response. Kind interviewer. They only wanted to hire US citizens when I applied - regardless of work authorization. Good to research the company and other similar companies before the interview so that you can ask relevant questions.

Just a note: my process may have been a bit unique since I was an employee referral and other people at MongoDB knew my skills and experience prior to interviews, also some interviewers reached out to trusted colleagues in their network who know me to get honest feedback about my past experience and performance. Essentially I had multiple interviews with managers, Directors and VPs in Pre-Sales and Sales - initially remote, video conference (Zoom) and last was a half-day of on-site interviews where they flew me to NYC (MDB HQ).
