There are three stages. Firstly, standard screening with a recruiter, and then a portfolio review where you present your work, and finally another behavioral with MongoDB designers who ask more design-specific questions.

Had a recruiter call. Questions were well tailored to the prep provided and very focused on the company. Recruiter was nice, friendly, communicative and punctual. Interview process was a lot of steps, but it was really nice that they laid them out in such detail/clarity. I did not move forward but recruiter did not ghost me and kept me up to date at multiple stages of the process.
