I was quickly invited to two video interviews over google meet as well as a briefing call half an hour before the interviews started.
The briefing was held by a current Customer Operations member ("COp" for short) who gave us an overview of Monzo and how the COp team worked, including shift patterns. They also gave us tips for the following interviews.
The first interview was with a hiring member who wanted to get to know me, why I was applying for Monzo and a few competency-based questions such as "Tell me a time you went above and beyond for a customer"
The second interview was with a COp team leader who went through my answers on the Application form (There are some lengthy customer scenarios they want you to answer). This was mainly talking through my thought process and occasionally throwing in a bit of a curveball in a scenario to see how you think on the spot.
Everyone I spoke to during the process was welcoming and very pleasant to talk to and they made you feel like you were already part of the team during the process.
I was offered the job, however, the pay was lower than I had hoped for my experience so I declined. Monzo does not appear to be open to negotiating salary as they want to bring everyone in on a fair and even ground that is fair enough. This is important to keep in mind if you are applying for a role that has stated a salary that is lower than what you would like to be paid.
Overall, a great process. Very fast, informal and friendly. Great work, Monzo!

It was interesting and different I think it helped to choose the right candidates for the role. There was a group interview and two other interviews with different managers. They want to know you as a person through "Monzo Values" rather than just ask you generic qs
There were two video Interviews with different people and a preinterview introduction group meeting where they give tips for the interview which is very helpful. Lasted for approximately two hours.
