Had an initial phone interview, after that I was sent some documents detailing how to build a business plan as a FA. When we met in person for a lunch interview went over how you would implement or grow your practice, as well as addressing my potential target markets or centers of influences for prospective business.

Interview was in person which I thought was unnecessary giving the current climate. However, it was a review of my resume and how it aligned with the job app. There were two interviewers, one of whom would be a peer and they asked about salary expectations in the interview which was uncomfortable as I wasn’t prepared to discuss that information with someone I would be working with, but not in a supervisory manner

I didn't like it. The interviewer did not seem interested in me from the beginning of the conversation. The interviewer proceeded to tell me that they were looking to start a new team and I would be trained on whatever I needed to know. Somehow with all of my financial services knowledge, I didn't get a second interview. The interviewer didn't even bother to ask me questions. I knew I wasn't getting the job before I got off the phone.
