Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite l'università. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Morgan Stanley nel mese di gen 2014
Colloquio
Not very challenging. I was interviewed by a few incredibly elitist employees, judging me entirely on my behavioral skills, rather than my technical abilities. I was asked to walk through my resume, and to answer a few behavioral questions. To my surprise, they spent a lot of time asking me why I didn't want to pursue tech (what my school's primary focus is), and really drilled me on questions like "Well if this is why you want to be in finance, and you can find this in tech, why aren't you going into tech?" They're clearly worried about hiring someone who will turn them down for a job in tech.

Hirevue consisted of three questions. It was not terrible because you had unlimited time between each question. I did not get to the in-person interview round so I can't speak on that.

Very easy and thorough; make sure you have your behavioral skills knocked down, technical knowledge is not as important in PWM as they may be in IB. Be yourself, stay straight and you should be fine. Confidence!

Domanda 1
Tell me about yourself (2-3 minute answer expected)
Had one phone screen, which was behavioral. Then, two in person interviews in NYC, which were technical/behavioral. The MDs and analysts were looking for a strong understanding of the markets, a curiosity in finance and a culture fit with the team and the firm.
