The recruiter reached out via text and email on behalf of the client to set up a preliminary screening call. During the call, the recruiter went over the role and company, and I walked them through my background. Once the recruiter established that I would be a good fit for the client, she shared my resume with the hiring manager. Fast forward a few days later and I followed up asking if there were any updates, to which the recruiter replied there weren't any. It's now been nearly a month, and the recruiter has ghosted me without any updates. This company only seems to care about gathering as many resumes as possible, then ghosts you once there isn't a fit. This was an overall negative experience and was really inconsiderate of the applicant's experience.
