I completed an online application and then further questions. I was asked to complete the aptitude tests for which I passed. After some time I was invited to an interview at head office with a line manager. I was interviewed by two people, a line manager and a technical engineer. The interview was more of a conversation rather than a interrogation. I was asked questions based on my CV and any other experiences. A few technical questions based on engineering basics (in my case civil engineering) were asked. It is important to know what is exactly on your CV.
