Ho presentato la mia candidatura di persona. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Mount Sinai Health System (New York, NY) nel mese di ott 2011
Colloquio
In 2011, Continuum offered weekly open interviews for registered nurses in their corporate building. For the most part, new graduates were interviewed in a group setting, whereas experienced ones were interviewed 1:1. I have been turned away politely several times as an LPN, as a newly graduate Associate's degree RN, and finally, with great luck, I was ushered in solo to meet the recruiter for Beth Israel (For some odd reason, there was no other new grads with me at that perfect time). Ms. Veronica Lopez, senior recruiter at the time, took a chance with my 3 month experience in an ambulatory surgery center and forwarded it to the Director of Peri-operative Services. She did not promise me anything. Just that she would forward my resume and hope for the best that the Director would respond back. Which she did after 3 days. I was interviewed a week later by the Director and Assistant Director of Peri-operative Services and got the job!

Brief initial phone interview from HR. Then was told my resume would be forwarded to hiring managers. Positions were explained since depth and had an opportunity to ask questions about units. Awaiting call from unit managers.

HR manager contacted me via e-mail and made an interview appointment. I went to the lobby and called to the HR manager. After then, I met 3 nursing managers during the interview. I got a job offer in the evening from HR manager via phone call.

Very friendly. Asked about strengths and weaknesses. Asked to describe a time you had an issue with a coworker and how you handled the situation. Was then asked about a time when you had to think on your toes to intervene with a patient
