Spoke with a recruiter who immediately had me speak with the hiring manager and then spoke with the two other members of the department. The hiring manager used up the entire zoom call which prevented me from being able to ask questions (not sure if this was intentional or not). He spent the entire time ranting about how he was upset with HR having them be treated like other financial analysts. Was able to get in a few questions to the other two people with the department but they danced around the questions I asked. They also said that they want someone directly out of college to be in the position but they expect you to have an insane amount of experience that you can't possibly get in college. Pay is also not anywhere close to market rate for NYC even though it is a remote position.

Don't even waste your time, offering way less than market value but also want you to have technical skills that weren't even on the job description when applying. No wonder you can't find anyone to fill this role
