I contributed to same Mozilla project. Than one of its engineers asked me for my cv. I got two interviews (ten minutes between them). The interviewees were very cool. And even I didn't got the internship, I have a good time during it.

The interview process was in the form of a behavioural part and a technical part, similar to any other software engineering role. It was two hours. They are strict with their scheduling, so be ready to interview fast.
