Applied directly to HR's inbox and received a call in 2 days. Interview was scheduled in another 5 days. The QA Manager and a Senior software developer was in the call. QA Manager explained me about the job and all. Since it was a call things were not very audible. Then the software engineer asked a couple of questions from java.

Had a Telephonic round followed by a Technical discussion at the Dublin Office. After clearing that I was asked to come in to meet the HR and take an online aptitude test before coming in. I took the aptitude test the day before I went in to meet the HR. HR interview was a brief one and discussed salary expectation and work permit status. Couple of days later I was informed that they weren't going to continue with the process because of the results from the aptitude test. I do not understand why I was invited for the HR interview if the results from the aptitude test was not satisfactory. They don't seem to appreciate the value of the candidates time. Why was the aptitude test at the end of the selection process ? The team was really nice to meet except for the HR.
