I applied for an administrative assistant position in the Printing Services department in Summer 2024. I did not receive the job after the interview, but was contacted a few weeks later by the woman who ran the interview to see if I still wanted the job. Apparently, the person they hired ended up turning down the job. When I said yes, she said she would get back to me shortly but I heard nothing for the next two weeks. I emailed the woman to see if there was a follow up, only to be contacted by an entirely different person a whole two weeks after that. They told me that they were re-opening the position and that I could re-apply if I wanted. It was a very belittling and frustrating experience that demonstrated a lack of good communication on their part.

Applied online. Was required to do an Excel test. Was then requested to come in for an interview. Over a month later from the final interview, not a word. The interviewers even made negative comments of the human resources department. The whole experience was highly unprofessional and shameful.
