Contacted by internal recruiter to discuss role, and was asked to complete an audit review of a website, it wasn't a small task and I actually spent a couple of days working on it, submitted this within the time frame set and was told I would hear if I would be invited back to an interview by a certain date. The date came and didn't hear anything. A few days pass by and I get a call saying I have been invited to interview which I accepted. Interviewed via video conference due to Covid, I don't believe I was the right person for the role as the interview was very technical, and it wasn't exactly as described by the internal recruitment manager, however, all interviews are good practice whether you do well at them or not. That was it though, never heard back any feedback, whether I got the job or not, no more contact from the managers who interviewed me or the recruitment manager who contacted me in the first place.
