Applied with a strong referral. First had the phone interview with HR, then met with HR in person and the hiring manager (SVP). I thought the whole interview went very well and then I followed up a week later and they told me that they should know more the following week. I found out I was not chosen through my referral and never received a "no thank you" from the company officially.
