      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso NEO Tech (Longmont, CO) nel mese di set 2021

      Colloquio

Filled out application online, they called back within 48 hours. Went in for a skills test, and then about a full week later an interview. Took about another full week to hear back from them. Below is full description of the interview and offer process: -First time in, no one in the lobby, no one answers phone. After 30m an employee leaving work notices me and goes to find the guy I'm to do skills test with. -Second time in, this time for interview, no one in lobby, called HR woman who set up interview 6 times, leaving 2 messages. After about 30m past my interview time, I was getting ready to walk out the door, when again, someone noticed me and went and got the person I needed. No apology, no hey I'm sorry I got distracted. They immediately came at me with excuses for why it was MY fault THEY didn't show up to the interview on time. "Oh you must not have called" Yeah. I did. "Oh I must have been out of the office" Well I called your cell phone multiple times and your office phone and left multiple messages. Take responsibility for your failures. Don't try to blame me because you were late. Probably the rudest thing I've ever had happen in an interview. - In Interview, was told starting wages would be $18-21, told them I wouldn't accept anything less than $20, which would still be a lower pay for me, but that I'd consider it for a shorter commute. During this part of the interview, HR woman tells me that they are the "Most profitable" branch of their company, and goes on a long rant about how hard it is to find good employees. - Actual interview went rather well, manager was a nice enough fellow. - They then took about a full week to get back to me with an offer, at which point I declined because they were only offering $18/hr, which is less than McDonalds in this city. Advice for management in future interviews: -Maybe don't rant about how profitable your company is and complain about how hard it is to find people and then offer less than McDonald's for starting wages. -Put two and two together guys, the reason you can't find people is because your not offering enough for the market -Look at wages for places around you, realize your offering non-skilled wages for skilled labor. -And figure out whatever you need to so that interviewees don't have to hope that someone comes out and notices them. Absolutely no respect for the time of their interviewees.
