Applied online on a Saturday and received a phone call two days later. Phone call consisted of general questions e.g. Why do you want to work for us, tell me about yourself. I was then invited to a Team Assessment on the Wednesday. This involved a team leader observing me on the shop floor where I had to interact with customers/ask if they needed help. Then went back into office where told I had the job and my induction would be the next week.

Some normal competency questions around experience, education and situational tasks. then spent a little time on the floor to practice interacting with customers and staff. Then we reviewed after and got offered the job.
quite a casual interview and made sure to make me feel at ease. in my case, me and other candidates were all waiting in one room waiting to be called for individual interviews
I was invited to the store and given a briefing and a quick chat. I was then asked to carried out a few tasks for about half an hour to learn what I could be doing and also to see how I would work in the store. I was also offered a £10 voucher for attending the interview.
