The interview started with small talk questions asking about who I am and why I‘ve applied for the job. Then they moved onto questions about where I’ve worked and how my experience and personality aligns with the job and the trust values questions. Then came the science questions - haem, coag and transfusion, followed by some generic questions about quality. I was then asked to review some blood films and to complete exclusions on an antibody panel.
