This was hands down the worst interview of my life. I came prepared, did my research, and came with solid questions all posed in a polite, professional manner. The recruiter could not answer a single question with a straight answer, was extremely rude, and laughed at me when I talked about my experience as a freelancer. At the end of the interview, I asked about what the company was doing to promote a better workplace environment, as the recent reviews from here were concerning. The recruiter demanded to know where I saw these complaints and insisted that they must not be true because that wasn't her experience. I also raised a concern with not having a background at RISD hurting my growth and opportunities within the company, which was also dismissed with a haughty answer that further proved I was right for being concerned. Somehow, after this interview, I was pushed to the next round, where I promptly declined. The whole experience felt condescending.
