It can take long but overall pretty standard. You are vetted by HR first and then the hiring manager. The questions are standard. There can be several interviews and the interviewee gave me a good understanding of the timeline for an offer.

I have been in contact with NJM for the last year and they reached out to me to come in for interviews 3 different times for 3 similar positions within the last year. The first time I came in was very informative and was not for any specific position but just in case any position came up. They then reached out to me months later and had me interview for a position that opened. The interview seemed to go well but they continued to ask me the same question worded in different way for 2 hours. They said I did great but after two weeks of waiting I received a rejection email. About a month later I was then contacted by NJM and was asked to interview for a similar position and I gladly accepted. The interview went well by all means and I had been told that off the record they had only one more person to interview and that the interview had gone great. The only put-off was that one of the interviewers asked me if I had a social life and told me that it is important to be able to share personal experiences during meetings which seemed a little bizarre to me. I understand where he was coming from but I don’t think that is a deal-breaker in an Analyst position or that that can be assessed in an hour long interview. Overall though, the interview made me feel at ease until two weeks later I had heard nothing. I had contacted the recruiter and found out that they were still deciding but that I would hear back soon. Nonetheless, two weeks after that, I was rejected. I understand that hiring decisions can take time, but this company has consistently left me hanging and seems to have little to no respect or regard for its candidates. I had come in at the request of the company three times and though I understand there were better candidates, I would hope the company would not continue to pursue people and leave them hanging for such long periods of time. If this treatment translates into how the managers treat their employees, I would not recommend working here. Sometimes it’s not just the interviewee that needs to be put under a microscope.
