A series of employee led interviews focused primarily on the role of the intern rather than the experience of the candidate. I did not enjoy the process of interviewing here.

It was a highly technical interview, there were no traditional interview questions. Posed hypothetical situations about copyright ownership and asked how you would respond or what advice you would give.
There were three rounds -- one by phone and two online with two editors/reporters each. The calls lasted about 30 minutes. I had the opportunity to ask questions at the end.

Why NPR? What's something about you that I wouldn't know from your application?
There was a initial interview with the manager and the senior person in my internship position asking more technical questions and then a couple other interviews with other people on the team.
