I got a call from a woman who was very nice and professional. She said she received my resume from a posting I applied to on Indeed but didn't mention what the company was. I applied to about 10 different companies the night before and wasn't sure which one it was. Not want to look like an idiot, I was afraid to ask (should have asked). The woman said they wanted to interview me for a customer service position that would also be doing PR work which interested me and we set up an interview time. I was excited and after the call I went to my emails to match the address with the companies I applied to. Through google searches, I learned that the company was NYSL Promotions. I kind of had a feeling that something was off about the whole thing and all the reviews I found online proved my feelings were right. They didn't even include their company name anywhere on the email they sent me! That was my first red flag. I will not be going for the interview.
