Intense. 1st interview is a brief phone call with HR. Then forward to the dept hiring manager. That was a long but comfortable interview on Zoom. After my hr interview I was asked to complete a writing assignment; tell us about a difficult situation, how you resolved it and how it will help you moving forward. I was expecting a short appeal letter. Then I was asked for 3mngr reference, 2 coworker and of course nobody wants to complete these ref questionnaires. Now I'm just waiting...

Interview process was great. Did like the different stages from HR to the hiring manager. The breakdown on the process of hiring went well. My questions were answered with concise information from the peers.

I was called for an interview with NYU prior to being called for the business associate position. My first interview was for a receptionist position in westchester county. Interview went well, I was interviewed by the incoming supervisor and the director of the department. The Director felt I was over qualified for a receptionist position so she referred me for another position within NYU. Fast forward two weeks later I was called for the business office associate position in the city. I was sent a confirmation interview for 2pm. I left work that day early to make it to my interview. Before you go to your interview you must go to HR first and meet with a recruiter. NYU is very unprofessional. When I arrived at the Human Resources office I was told my recruiter called out sick so I will have to meet with another recruiter, although she was nice she didn’t know much about the position or the time of my interview. I showed her my email she told me to proceed to the main hospital for a interview with the supervisor of the department, I arrived at the site at 1:45pm, asked for the supervisor and when the supervisor came to greet me she told me I was 45 mins late. I explained to her that my email stated my interview was at 2pm, show her my emailed and she said that wasn’t her problem and dismissed me, after numerous calls to Human Resources and the recruiter no one followed up with me . 3 months after this horrific experience I was called for another position with NYU that I turned down. Never will I deal with this unprofessional organization again
