      Colloquio per Senior Data Scientist

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Nasdaq (Vilnius) nel mese di lug 2025

      Colloquio

The process started with a short HR call focused on general experience and the role overview. The second round was with the hiring manager and leaned more toward motivational and communication-focused questions. After that, I was given a choice between two case studies to prepare and present in the technical interview. The third round involved a data scientist and a statistician - I presented the case, answered follow-up questions, and discussed ML basics and LLM concepts. The fourth round included the product owner and a VP/solution architect. It focused on broader experience, product thinking, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. At the end of that round, I was told the tech team would follow up with additional questions. That follow-up never came. Despite several polite follow-ups from my side, I received no updates, no response, and no closure. Three weeks later, the job was quietly removed from the public listing. Two months later, my application is still marked as active - without a single message or explanation, despite earlier positive feedback. In total, I spent ~12 hours on interviews and preparation. I fully understand that roles evolve or stronger candidates may be chosen - that’s fair. But ghosting someone after multiple interviews is not. The complete lack of communication and respect for a candidate’s time is unprofessional. Disappointing experience - I would not recommend applying to Nasdaq unless their hiring process becomes more transparent and respectful.
